Yoga has been a constant presence in Kelly’s life for over 20 years, especially during transformational times. She found Yoga after a knee injury prevented her from playing basketball in college; she fell in love with Yoga and developed a daily practice shortly after moving to St. John in the Virgin Islands; and when she decided to stop teaching elementary and middle school, Kelly focused on sharing her love of Yoga and became a Yoga teacher. She completed her 200hr Yoga teacher certification at Emerge Yoga & Wellness in Bellmore, NY, she has multiple Antigravity Aerial Yoga certifications from Christopher Harrison’s AntiGravity Lab in NYC, and her StandUp Paddleboard Yoga certification is from Yogaqua in Marina Del Rey, CA. Whether on the mat, in a hammock or on a paddleboard, Kelly knows that Yoga is for EVERYbody and her classes reflect this philosophy. She believes that Yoga is transformational and can assist in becoming more flexible in all aspects of your existence: physical, mental and spiritual. Kelly believes that Yoga has the ability to meet every student right where they are starting from and that it brings a greater awareness of both body and mind. She is very appreciative to both her teachers and her students and feels honored to be a part of the yoga community.
